Fairly good week for me. ARC Raiders dropped their 2.0 update this week and I’ve been back playing it a lot as a result. The new map is really fun and creative, and the new ARC enemies are terrifying. They’re also running a beta for a PvE mode toggle next week which I’m excited for because while the PvP can make situations tense, I haven’t been that much of a fan of it myself, avoiding it where possible.
On Tuesday I had lunch with an oomf, Pfych, who came down to Melbourne from Sydney for the week for PAX Australia. We went to a cool cafe in Brunswick and yapped a lot about computer stuff over food and coffee. We would’ve hung out a bit longer but she had some work stuff to do and it had been raining so nowhere outside was nice unfortunately. Perhaps next time!
I did have another meetup planned with another friend but it had to be cancelled last minute due to some health stuff that came up. Hoping to reschedule for some other time.
I also had my routine optometrist checkup, first time at the place up here since moving. Prescription is mostly the same, though a little more short-sighted in my left eye now. Nothing serious.
