Happy Mother’s Day! I went down to stay with my parents for the weekend due to it. I got my mum some plushies because she didn’t want chocolate, and we had a nice roast chicken and veg for dinner. I had a pretty good time down there, Saturday especially I was in a really good mood, went out shopping in a skirt, and had some moments where I thought I actually looked pretty good!
On the way home I got bored and made a quick atproto thing based on a friend’s post.

It was an obvious joke post, but it actually gave me a brain itch and ended up nerdsniping me into actually building it. I got Claude to build it as a Go binary mostly just to make a shitpost, not sure if I’m ever going to end up releasing it since it is kind of dumb, but maybe eventually if I get bugged enough.

In terms of gaming, I managed to place an order for the new Steam Controller! The situation in Australia was a little less hectic than what I’ve heard it was in North America, so I was able to actually get one well into the morning. It’s arriving next week and I’m pretty excited to be able to test it out. I do have an Xbox Series controller that I use sometimes on my PC, but something is weird with my PC’s Bluetooth which causes it to cut out pretty often so I need to use it plugged in which is really annoying; having a controller with some actual decent wirelessness will be a godsend.
