I spent this week working on some new features for atex, notably a client for PLC servers and a basic cryptography implementation that will eventually be used for PDS service-proxy auth and MST/CAR verification. Next I’ll be working on adding streaming support to the XRPC client (if I even need to do anything special) so that the Comet upload form can be integrated nicely with uploading blobs.
On Saturday night, I went out with some friends to see a concert from Hilltop Hoods (an Australian hip-hop group). It’s not the usual kind of music I listen to, but it was enjoyable enough. Afterwards we fucked around in the city for a bit and then went home. I had a very good time overall, certainly beats sitting at my desk for the entire night.
